Uplyme looking for first victory

WITH the football finally grinding to a conclusion, Uplyme and Lyme Regis Cricket Club are hopping to be able to field stronger teams for the Devon Cricket League Division D East fixtures.

After three games, Uplyme 1st X1 are still looking for their first victory of the season, being firmly entrenched in bottom place of the table with only 16 points.

But they have the opportunity of turning the tables today (Saturday) when they welcome North Devon, who have won one of their three games,  to the King George V playing field (start 1.30 pm).

Uplyme 2nds, third in division H East,  travel to bottom club Exmouth CC 3rd X1 and will be looking for their second win of the season.
