Success for Lyme Regis Bowls Club’s men’s teams

BOTH of Lyme Regis Bowls Club’s mens’ league teams came away with good wins last week.

The championship side won 9-1 against Wellworthy, whilst Lyme 2 took 8 points off Dorchester. More results like these will do us no harm.

The ladies, who have been doing well, went down to Poole Park 0-10 away at Poole.

Only two friendlies this week, a resounding loss against Topsham but a big win against Den Teignmouth.

Starting this Saturday, June 15, the club will host its annual tournament. The event runs all week, finishing on Friday afternoon with the finals.

This week is a fine spectacle, with class bowlers competing from around the country. All visitors during the week will be given a warm welcome by the club.
