The home team batted first, amassing 172-9 in their allotted overs with Steve Batey finishing with the best bowling figures of 4-26. Uplyme fielded well with three run-outs.

In reply, Uplyme hit a winning score of 173-9 with Batey falling just one run short of a half century and Bruce Maltby contributing a beligerant 46 knock-out off 29 balls.  Jed Whittington adding a useful 19 to help Uplyme to 19 points.

Next Saturday (May 11) Uplyme are at home to Bradninch (1.30pm start).
