New kit for Somerset cricketers

SOMERSET County Cricket Club have launched our new shirts ahead of the 2018 season.

The three shirts were revealed at an exclusive invite-only event at the Cooper Associates County Ground on Wednesday evening.

Club captain Tom Abell, Vitality Blast Captain Lewis Gregory and Marcus Trescothick were on hand to reveal the designs at the special reception for official Club Partners, local dignitaries and competition winners.

SCCC Head of Commercial, Sarah Trunks said: “This year’s Vitality Blast shirt is something really different. We wanted the shirt to replicate exactly what the Vitality Blast is all about; action, excitement and vibrancy.

“We have had a great deal of positive feedback from our partners and the supporters who were here to see the exclusive launch tonight. Importantly the players really like it and as always they had a big say in the final design.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank our new Official Kit Partner Shrey and Peloton Design for all their help in taking this shirt from the sketch pad and making it a reality.”

Tickets are now on sale for the club’s seven home Vitality Blast matches

Prices start from £140 for all seven group matches with an allocated seat in either a Category A, B or C area.

Tickets for the Royal London One-Day Cup and Specsavers County Championship will be available to buy from tomorrow (Monday, March 5).
