Lyme ladies give league leaders a drubbing

bowlsPRIDE of place this week goes to the Lyme Regis Ladies’ League team who, against the odds, completed a 71-47 drubbing of top of the table Poole Park. Consistent bowling on all three rinks enabled the home team to ease to what was a very comfortable 10 points.

The men in the championship league only managed another 2 points against Wellworthy,  but Lyme 2 had a good 8-2 win against Greenhill A.

In the friendlies it was played 4 won 2. One of the losses was away to Winchester but, as always, this was a very enjoyable coach trip day out for club members.
