LYME Regis Bowling Club  ladies secured two points away at Broadstone Wessex in what was their last league game of the season. They are now assured of their place in Division One of the Dorset Ladies League for next year.

In the three friendlies played last week Lyme won comfortably away to Queen Camel but got thrashed by tourists from Barnwood BC and by Yeovil.

The men from the two league teams had their annual end-of-season roll-up and supper on Monday, with gifts being given by league captains,Trevor Allman and Alan Nabarro, to the ladies who  generously give up their Monday evenings to provide  food after the game.
