LYME Regis Reserves booked their place in the final of the Football Express Cup this afternoon (Sunday) with a comprehensive 7-1 semi-final victory Westexe Park Rangers 2nds.

Now competing in the Devon & Exeter League Division Five, the Ressies made club history last season when they won the Football Express Cup for the first time.

They will now meet the winners of the other semi-final between old adversaries Millwey Rise or Elmore AFC in a bid to retain the trophy.

There was only one side in it this afternoon with hat-tricks for Steve Batey, taking his tally to 19 this season,  and Jake Bearpark, with Harvey Brimicombe also getting on the scoresheet.
