Our Lyme Regis centre has been open for more than four years and has recently become a partner with CIMSPA, the professional development body for the UK’s sport and physical activity sector.

Craig Bernhardt – CEO & Founder
I HAVE clocked up over 1,000 hours of personal training with private clients since creating B! Health & Fitness in 2014. My clients have been a balance of male and female ranging across a wide age group, from 20 to 73 years old, with various objectives of training for specific sports events, entering into the armed forces, losing post-birth baby weight, general shaping and toning, mobility and building muscle mass. Now at age 50 and still training myself four times per week, I am very much aware of the changing abilities and adjustments that need to be made to continue obtaining results as we age. Nutrition and supplementation are of particular interest to me and I enjoy seeing the development of clients as they combine structured training regimes with changes in eating habits, unveiling a new physique and level of fitness that improves quality of life.
Duncan Bryant – Personal Trainer
SINCE gaining my Personal Training qualification in 2013, I have worked with clients ranging from the ages of 18 to 72, with an equal split across genders. I have trained a very wide range of clients; those returning post-surgery, people looking to improve upon health concerns, those looking for weight-loss, muscle building, pre/post pregnancy mums, all the way to athletes competing internationally and winning national championships. In my late 30s and now being a father for the first time, I am conscious of the challenges that come our way in life. I understand the importance of changes that need to be made for an effective long-term approach to fitness and nutrition. It’s not all chicken and broccoli, life is about balance. Mobility and movement for life are of particular interests to me. You may be big and muscly but can you run for the bus, equally you might be able to go all day on your bike but can you carry the shopping bags with ease? In my mind, a healthy body can do both, and in the main, that is what I like to focus on with people.
Scott Bean – Personal Trainer
I HAVE always had a passion for sport and fitness which I have been able to put into practice while working here at B! Health & Fitness. Helping others achieve their own goals is something I have strived for throughout my career and will continue to do so moving forward. Having only been in the industry for three years, I have already generated a large roster of PT clients who trust me completely in aiding their fitness goals. Prior to working here at B! Health & Fitness, I studied for 2 years to acquire my PT Level 3 and Level 2 Gym Instructor Qualification. Alongside these courses, I have obtained many other qualifications that allow me to work within many other avenues within the fitness industry.
Charlotte Bernhardt – Gym Instructor
AFTER working part-time at reception during studying for my A-levels, I decided I wanted to continue working in the health and fitness industry. After getting my Level 2 qualification I became a full-time member of staff in 2017 and have loved every minute of it. I love the friendly atmosphere of B! as all the staff and members get to know each other and there is a real community feel. My favourite part of being a Gym Instructor is running the classes and getting everyone motivated, and it’s great when you get such positive feedback!
Josh Armytage – Gym Instructor
SPORT and, more specifically, fitness, have always been a huge part of my life and something that I am truly passionate about! Helping others to improve their fitness and enhance their lives is hugely rewarding, which in turn motivates me even more. Rugby, football, hockey, athletics and cricket are but some of the sports I have a participated in both as a player and a coach. This has led to an in-depth understanding of the physical and mental requirements involved in sport and physical fitness which I put to use here at B! My areas of expertise include: increasing muscle mass, improving strength, weight gain, weight loss, sport specific movements and diet and supplementation.
Here at B! we know that not everyone wants to exercise on their own, which is why our group studio classes are the perfect solution.
