Patients asked to have their say on physiotherapy services

THE NHS in Dorset is reviewing arrangements for certain types of physiotherapy service in the county.

The authorities are interested in hearing about people’s experiences of getting physiotherapy support with problems that affect the bones and/or muscles and other soft tissues.

They would like to hear from patients, carers and staff who have used or been involved with adult (16+) physiotherapy services for such problems, to find out what is working well and what could be improved.

A short online survey is available for people to complete at

Chris Boothroyd from LymeForward’s Health & Wellbeing Group, said: “This is a critical moment for the provision of local health services. The Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group is approaching decision time on the future arrangements for patients registered with Lyme Regis and Charmouth GPs. So taking this opportunity to have your say on one aspect of those services is important.”
