A TRADITIONAL barber’s shop with a modern slant has opened in Lyme Regis.
The Sandyman Chop Shop in premises on the corner of Silver Street and Hill Road opened its doors for the first time on Saturday and is already proving to be popular with the younger clientele.
The shop is being run by Simon Bones, who has a similar business in New North Road, Exeter. Simon has been a barber since 2013 and before that worked in education in Worcester.
He describes his business as a traditional barbers for the modern age, offering hot towel shaves as well as hair cuts and beard trims. He says the business reflects his passions, which included skateboarding, hot rods, motorbikes and tattoo culture and art.
The Sandyman Chop Shop will be open Tuesday to Saturday.
