Town Mill seeking new volunteers

town mill

THE Town Mill in Lyme Regis and its galleries are looking for more volunteers who are passionate about history, art or simply enjoy interaction with other people.

The mill is looking for front of house roles which involve welcoming visitors and explaining a little about the mill history, as well as selling its award-winning flour which is milled on the premises. The historic attraction is also looking for tour guides.

Due to coronavirus restrictions, the mill is not currently able to train any millers, but is also looking for enthusiastic stewards for its galleries to support established and new artists.

Safety of volunteers is paramount during the current pandemic. The mill has adapted all areas for volunteer safety with stations in every area protected with acrylic screens and is giving full safety training and protective equipment.

Volunteers can choose their own times and days to work, so why not try something new and volunteer for a few hours to support the charitable trust which runs this historic attraction?
