Town bus service reinstated this week

FOLLOWING a suspension during the coronavirus lockdown, the Lyme Regis town bus service will be back up and running as of today (Monday, June 29).

The 71 bus, operated by Damory and subsidised by the town council, was suspended at the end of March due to lockdown restrictions.

It is now back up and running, but passengers should note that they are now required to wear a face covering when using public transport.

The bus will also be running at limited capacity to ensure passengers can remain socially-distanced.
