THE Lyme Regis branch of Cancer Research UK will be hosting their popular BIG Breakfast next month, after it was postponed earlier this year due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The annual event will now be held at the Woodmead Halls on Friday, September 25 with pre-booked slots available between 8am and 1pm.

Full English breakfasts (vegetarian option available) with orange juice, tea/coffee, toast and marmalade will be served up for £7. Bacons baps will also be available for £3.50.

Tickets must be booked in advance for specific time slots in order to allow for social distancing and table sanitisation in line with COVID-19 guidelines.

You can book for either 8am, 10am or 12noon by calling Philip Evans on 07796 951 991. Alternatively, you can pre-order a takeaway either to collect or for delivery by calling the same number.

The Lyme Regis branch of Cancer Research UK had hoped to raise £10,000 this year with an event planned for every month, but these were curtailed by the coronavirus pandemic.

The branch has raised almost £200,000 since launching in 2008.
