LYME Regis shops were targeted by thieves on Christmas Day.
A number of commercial properties suffered break-ins or were damaged in attempted break-ins on Christmas Day night.
Among the shops targeted was Asian food takeaway Red Panda in Broad Street, where the glass door was smashed.
Commenting on the incident on social media, owners said the break-in had affected their plans to re-open after the Christmas break on January 8 and the shop would remain closed until further notice.
A glass window was also smashed at Boots and Arthur Fordham & Co is also thought to have been targeted.
Police commented: “We are aware that there have been a number of break-ins and attempts to commercial properties in Lyme Regis on Christmas Day.
