Lyme Regis to host Halloween pumpkin trail

pumpkinWITH trick or treating off the cards due to social distancing regulations, Lyme Regis will be holding a Pumpkin Trail to ensure families can still have fun this Halloween.

The trail is being organised by the Town Mill and Fine Art & Framing in Broad Street, and other local businesses are being asked to display a pumpkin in their window during the October half term for children and families to spot.

This could be a carved pumpkin or a picture of a pumpkin – whatever suits your style of business best. They should be displayed from October 23 to November 1 and a map will be available for people to follow.

There is no charge to take part and the event is not raising money for any cause – it is simply to allow children and families to celebrate Halloween despite the COVID-19 restrictions, with towns up and down the country are planning similar events.
