Lyme invited to join national applause for NHS staff

LYME Regis residents are being asked to join in a national event to celebrate NHS staff during this difficult time.

On Thursday, March 26 at 8pm, everyone across the country is being asked to join an ‘Applause for NHS Staff’ to show their appreciation for health workers during the coronavirus epidemic.

Everyone is invited to give a round of applause from their front doors, windows, gardens, balconies or from inside if they are unable to get out at all.

The idea is to show all NHS staff how much their hard work is appreciated in the ongoing fight against COVID-19, and raise spirits and bring communities together while residents are living in isolation.
