LYME Regis horticulturists Nigel and Ashley Ball have undergone an autumn shave to raise funds for two cancer charities close to their hearts.

The father and son both shaved their heads last Sunday to raise funds for Axminster and Lyme Cancer Support and Macmillan Cancer Support.

They also sold some of their homegrown produce outside their home in Talbot Road over the weekend to boost funds, bringing the total raised so far to £1,100.

With Nigel’s wife Karen still undergoing cancer treatment, these two charities have been a great support help to both her and the family during a difficult 15 months.

Nigel and Ashley would like to offer a massive thank you to all those who have donated.

Anyone wishing to make a donation to Nigel and Ashley can still do so by calling Nigel on 07855 079 194 or by emailing nigelball3@btinternet.com
