Free Christmas lunches available for those in need

christmas dinnerA FREE Christmas Day dinner is on offer to anyone in need in Lyme Regis this festive season.

A delicious meal will be delivered free of charge to residents on Christmas Day, courtesy of professional chef Dom Moldenhauer, of Lyme Regis restaurant Dom’s Table.

Dom’s Table has joined with several community groups to bring some festive cheer to those who may otherwise go without on December 25.

Meals will be available to anyone who is in need, perhaps because they are on their own, self-isolating, unwell, or unable to afford food.

Dom will be preparing the meals, then handing them over to a team of volunteers who will distribute them to anyone who pre-orders. If you would like to order a Christmas Day dinner, contact Cheryl Reynolds on 01297 443814 or 07796 074849.

The initiative is a joint effort between Lyme Regis Community Support, the mayor and mayoress, Dom’s Table, Lyme Regis Food Bank and LymeForward, Lyme Regis Development Trust, Lyme Bay Medical Practice and social prescriber for the Jurassic Coast Primary Care Network.
