MANY pubs and restaurants in Lyme Regis have welcomed customers for the first time this year today (Monday) as lockdown restrictions are further eased.

Hospitality businesses can now serve tables of up to six outside, with several in Lyme Regis having expanded or improved their outside areas to make the most of the spring trade.

A new three-level decked area has been constructed outside Mark Hix’s Oyster & Fish House in Lister Gardens, while SWIM on Marine Parade today launches its new takeaway kiosk Good Days, with seating available on its verandah and on the seafront below.

The Royal Standard and Poco Pizza have also installed new awnings so customers can avoid the April showers.
