SANTA Claus will be coming to town as the Lyme Regis charity sleigh heads out for its 20th anniversary year.
Father Christmas will be making his rounds in Lyme Regis and Uplyme on December 12 and 13 and Charmouth on December 14.
This will be the twentieth year that Uplyme residents Neville and Sarah Causley and their family have run the sleigh, which brings joy to both children and adults alike, as well as raising thousands for local and national charities each year.
This year’s chosen charity is The Woodroffe School Welfare Project, which has been set up to give extra help with the mental health and general wellbeing of students.
Neville said: “There are several charities who support the students, in various aspects of wellbeing, and we thought that during this last 18 months mental health has been very much in the news, and there is a need for this service locally.”
