Lyme Regis framing business seeking new owner

Jennie and Adrian Pearson from On The Edge Framing

A LYME Regis business which has provided a service to the town for many years is looking for a new home.

‘On The Edge’ Framing has existed in Lyme Regis for over 25 years, providing a picture framing service for the town.

In that time it’s had at least four owners and occupied several different premises – including the shop at the top of Hill Road and the Town Mill – and most recently the garden studio in Harcombe belonging to Jennie and Adrian Pearson.

Now Jennie and Adrian have to move on and are on the look out for someone new who would find the craft of picture framing a rewarding pursuit.

Said Jennie: “There’s always a variety of projects coming through the door – not just pictures, prints and photos but items like embroidery, medals, T-shirts and family memorabilia that folk treasure and want displayed. It’s so nice helping people enhance their special pieces.”

Jennie and Adrian are offering not just materials, equipment and tools of the trade but training and mentoring to anyone new to the business.

Jennie added: “We do so hope someone will want to take this on; we’ll do all we can to help them on their way. “We’d love to hear from anyone who’s interested.”
