
AN increasing number of Lyme Regis businesses are joining the national Refill scheme, offering free tap water refills to reduce plastic waste.
The Refill scheme was created to reduce plastic pollution and promote healthy hydration, by making refilling a water bottle easy, social and rewarding.
City to Sea launched Refill Bristol in 2015 and the idea took, with more than 1,600 refill points across the whole of the UK today.
Support from local businesses
In Dorset, the project is being promoted by Litter Free Coast and Sea and 12 business in Lyme Regis have now signed up to offer visitors free tap water refills, including:

- Cornish Bakery
- Aroma Coffee House
- Galley Café
- The Good Food Store
- Roly’s Fudge Pantry
- Mulberry Manor
- Bell Cliff Restaurant
- Frank & Beans Gelateria
- Tierra Kitchen
- Alexandra Hotel
- Red Panda
