THE seasonal Lyme Life Magazine – the ultimate guide to Dorset’s most popular resort – will be relaunched this spring following a two-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The magazine is published by Lyme Regis Media Ltd, which also produces the LymeOnline fortnightly community newspaper and website. It was published four times a year during 2018 and 2019, but the financial implications of the pandemic meant it had to be put on hold for the past two years.
Now the publication is planning a return in late March, packed full of features and colourful photo spreads showing off the best of Lyme Regis.
In recent years, Lyme Regis has emerged as one of the West Country’s most sought-after destinations in events tourism, ideal for traditional family seaside holidays, with a packed calendar of festivals and attractions all year around for both visitors and residents to enjoy.
Lyme Life promotes all the major events and features the many facets of visiting and living in Lyme during the summer and Christmas seasons, providing local shops and businesses with the opportunity of maximising their services for as little as £60 per issue.
The magazine includes editorial features by LymeOnline journalists Philip and Francesca Evans and photography by the award-winning Richard Austin.
With a 6,000 print run for each issue, Lyme Life is available from a large number of local shops and businesses and all the major accommodation and tourist outlets in the area, with some also delivered door-to-door around Lyme Regis.
