Volunteers from Lyme Regis lifeboat crew receive their Christmas goodies from Co-op

VOLUNTEERS from Lyme Regis lifeboat and fire crews received some early Christmas presents from the local Co-op store this week.

The lifeboat and fire crews have remained on-call throughout the pandemic and were thanked for their bravery and dedication to the Lyme Regis community with Christmas goodies from staff at the Co-op store in Broad Street.

The store also donated Christmas treats to be distributed via the foodbank to families in need.

Store manager Karl Josko said: “We wanted to say thank you to those in the community who have gone above and beyond this year, and what better people than the volunteers of RNLI and the fire crew.

“These guys are on call 24/7 and have had a busy year.”
