A NEW exhibition by local author and illustrator Carolyn King opens today (Wednesday) at Lyme Regis Museum.
‘Telling Tales!’ is the third exhibition hosted by Lyme Bay Arts in the museum’s Rotunda Gallery and is comprised of pictures, words and whimsy created by Carolyn for three of her children’s books, ‘About a Bee’, ‘Along Came a Seagull’ and ‘The Fish Lizard of Lyme’.
These three books were written in and inspired by Lyme Regis and were made using the traditional mediums of egg tempera and pencil.
Carolyn trained at the Cass, St Martins and Chelsea Art Schools, has taught and exhibited widely and is a member of the South West Academy.
