LYME Regis Day of Morris will be held on Saturday, June 1 with performances from hosts Uplyme Morris, as well as visiting dance sides and musicians throughout the day.
The programme of entertainment will start at 11am with performances taking place at the Marine Parade shelters and outside SWIM on the seafront.
Morris sides from across London, Bristol, Devon, Cornwall and Dorset have been invited to take part, including The Belles of London, The Wreckers, Sidmouth Steppers, Pigsty Morris and Black Bess.
The colourful and vibrant sides will perform different styles of Morris dancing from around the country, while event sponsors Lyme Regis Brewery and SWIM will be providing food and drink.
The event will finish at 7pm with local sea shanty singing group The Chantry Buoys, who will feature at this year’s International Sea Shanty Festival in Falmouth next month, performing on the seafront.
There will also be a busking slot from 1pm and anyone interested in performing is welcome to come along.
