LYME Regis teenager Joshua Denning raised more than £4,000 for local good causes over the past year.

Joshua enjoys taking part and supporting all the major local events and festivals, where he is regularly seen with his collection bucket.

In 2019 alone, he raised a total of £4,121.61, including during Lifeboat Week, Regatta & Carnival Week, Guitars on the Beach, bonfire night and other festivals.

Joshua, a pupil at Mountjoy School in Beaminster, is regularly supported by his younger brother Jacob, who attends the Woodroffe School.

The pair started their 2020 fundraising efforts by taking part in the Rotary Club’s Lyme Lunge yesterday, which was also Joshua’s 16th birthday. The brothers are thought to have raised the most sponsorship in aid of Dorset County Hospital out of all entrants, topping £400.

Their mum Annette would like to thank all those who support both the boys in their fundraising efforts.
