VISITORS to the Town Mill in Lyme Regis can once again view the historic watermill and learn about the production of flour.
The mill is offering a free miller interaction experience instead of its usual tours to meet COVID-19 regulations.
Visitors will be able to view the 14th century watermill from different levels and ask the volunteer millers questions from a safe distance.
There is no fee for this experience but donations towards the upkeep of the mill would be welcome.
The Town Mill’s two art galleries are also now open, with Chris Goodman’s ‘Sea and Shore Explored’ running until August 20, followed by an exhibition by Alistair and Kate Briggs in the Courtyard Gallery, and Richard Kaye displaying his recent work in the Malthouse Gallery.
The mill’s various artisan businesses are also open, including Lyme Regis Brewery, Courtyard Café and the neighbouring Millside restaurant and Persian street food stand.
