Free museum passes for local schoolchildren

Lyme Regis Museum director David Tucker presents children from Mrs Ethelston’s Primary School with free passes for the year

LYME Regis Museum has provided free entry passes for the year to every child at two local primary schools.

Children from St Michael’s Primary School in Lyme Regis and Mrs Ethelston’s Primary School in Uplyme can now enjoy free entry to the town’s museum, with the hope that they will be inspired by the fascinating stories and artefacts at the popular attraction.

Museum director David Tucker said: “The museum is very keen to do all it can to encourage local Lyme’s children to learn about their town, so we issue all children at the town’s two primary schools with a free pass every year.

“As we ask children to be accompanied, the annual passes mean that the children can visit with adults as well as brothers and sisters. We want to do all we can to support our local schools.”
