More than 100 coronavirus cases in Dorset

DORSET now has more than 100 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

In the past 24 hours, the number of confirmed cases increased from 84 to 105 – the sharpest increase seen in the county to date.

Fifty-four of these cases are in the Dorset Council area and 51 in Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole.

It has been reported that seven patients have now died in hospitals across Dorset.

There are a total of 447 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the South West, including Dorset, Devon, Somerset and Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
