CONGRATULATIONS to Sabine Schildorfer who was selected as the lucky winner of two VIP tickets to Deep Purple’s 2021 European tour in LymeOnline’s recent competition, held in conjunction with Lyme Bay Radio.

More than 100 people entered the competition, and Sabine was chosen at random after correctly answering that Ian Gillan had made 37 live and studio albums with Deep Purple, and the track from new album ‘Whoosh!’ that contained the lyrics “all I’ve got is what I need” was ‘Throw My Bones’.

Francis Lee and John Jones were selected as runners up and will each receive a CD of ‘Whoosh!’ signed by Ian Gillan.

The competition was held in conjunction with community radio station Lyme Bay Radio, which recently hosted an interview with Deep Purple frontman Ian Gillan.

All winners have been contacted by Lyme Bay Radio host Russ Pearce by email.
