A NEW interactive map has confirmed there have been no COVID-19 related deaths in the Lyme Regis area.
The map has been launched by the Office of National Statistics and allows the public to search for COVID-19 related deaths by electoral area using their postcode.
The deaths shown on the map are those which happened between March 1 and May 31, where coronavirus was the underlying cause or was mentioned on the death certificate as a contributory factor.
The map shows no deaths in the Lyme Regis, Charmouth and Marshwood Vale area. Bridport North has three confirmed deaths and Bridport South & West Bay has one.
Burton Bradstock & Chideock also had one deaths and Beaminster, Maiden Newton & Halstock had two recorded.
The closest recorded deaths shown in East Devon include 10 in Axminster, 10 in Seaton ad one in the Kilmington, Colyton & Uplyme area.
Sidmouth has six recorded deaths and Honiton has three.
