COLYTON Butchers in Lyme Regis will re-open this afternoon following an issue with its lease.

Customers of the award-winning butchers in Broad Street were surprised to find the shop locked this morning (Tuesday) with possession notices attached to the door and front window.

Within an hour, the notices had been covered by blank paper, leaving some questioning whether the butchers would be re-opened.

Andrew Bolton of Colyton Butchers has now confirmed that the shop will re-open this afternoon after an issue regarding the lease of the premises was resolved with the owner.
