Billy raises £735 for The Fire Fighter’s Charity

billy perryCHARMOUTH youngster Billy and his mum Torie Perry raised £735 for The Fire Fighters Charity after challenging themselves to walk three kilometres a day during January.

Four-year-old Billy has four generations of firefighters in his family and is the nephew of a current member of the Charmouth fire crew. He walked three kilometres a day during January with mum Torie, who has gave up all her favourite chocolate treats and sweets for the month to boost funds.

They set a target of raising £150 but supporters quickly helped them surpass this and they have now made a total of £735 for the Fire Fighters Charity, which supports the mental, physical and social needs of all serving and retired members of the UK’s fire family.
