CHARMOUTH’S annual Christmas Fayre on Thursday, December 5 will be expanded this year to include a community curry and carols.
The fayre will open at 5pm with village shops staying open late and setting up festive stalls. There will also be a Christmas quiz for children and the chance to meet Father Christmas at his grotto in Breeze.
The event will also include a grand raffle with first prize of £50, and tickets already available at Morgans, Charmouth Stores and other outlets.
The fayre will be followed by a community curry and carols night at 7pm in St Andrew’s Community Hall on Lower Sea Lane.
Homemade curries will be served and a bar will be available, with the evening also to include well-known carols and a good sing-along!
Tickets cost £10 for adults and are free for children, available at Fortnam, Smit & Banwell or The Pharmacy.
Those attending are asked to bring along donations of non-perishable food, toiletries and household goods for local food banks.
