Inspired by the rich traditions of Arab and Persian culture, Martin will weave together a flying carpet of stories from ‘1001 Nights’ and beyond, accompanied by music by Andrea Crociani on the Turkish bağlama.
Tickets are £8 or £5 for the unwaged and under 18s, and are available from the Tourist Information Centre on 01297 442318.
Those attending are encouraged to bring along a cushion to listen from the floor, or use the chairs available, and come early to enjoy refreshments before the magic begins.
The theme will continue with an Arabian Nights dinner and auction of promises at Uplyme Village Hall on Saturday, October 12.
Tickets, including an Arabian-inspired dinner, cost £20 and are also available from Lyme Regis Tourist Information Centre or Uplyme Stores.
