THEATRE Square in Lyme Regis will be transformed into a scenic venue for two outdoor performances this spring, both staged by the Marine Theatre.
Acclaimed theatre outfit Miracle is an award-winning touring company, based in Cornwall, with a reputation for producing, comical, highly entertaining and thought-provoking shows suitable for everyone.
One Friday, June 14 they are bringing their new music-filled production ‘A Perfect World’ to Lyme Regis for an outdoor performance. In it, a feisty young woman ventures into a Boy’s Own world of undiscovered jungles, treasure maps, campfires and penknives on an action-packed adventure.
Tickets cost £12 for adults, £10 for children or £40 for a family ticket. The Marine Theatre bar will open at 6.30pm for a 7.30pm show.
The world’s first cycling theatre company, The HandleBards, pedal from venue to venue with all the set, props and costume necessary to perform environmentally-sustainable Shakespeare across the globe.
Join the troupe in Lyme Regis on Wednesday, May 29 for a comic production of Shakespeare’s ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ like none other. In usual HandleBards style, expect riotous amounts of energy, a fair old whack of chaos, and a great deal of laughter.
Tickets range from £5.50 to £18.50. The Marine Theatre bar will open at 5.30pm for a 6.30pm performance.
Tickets for both shows can be booked by calling 01297 442138 or visit www.marinetheatre.com
