THE Lyme Regis-based Marine Players have developed a penchant for spooking audiences in recent years.

Following successful productions of ‘A Tomb with a View’ and ‘The Haunting of Hill House’, the players are set to thrill audiences once again with the world premiere of ‘Died in the Wool’.

The play is being written and directed by Juliet Henham, who has performed on stage with the Marine Players in past productions, adapted from an idea by Peter Henham.

The setting is the country home of Professor and Mrs Holroyd. Will their unusual guest bring a mystery in her wake? Who is the strange man at the vicarage? And why has a young man come all the way from California to see them?

Find out in this light-hearted murder mystery – a tease on Miss Marple.

Performances will be held at the Marine Theatre in Lyme Regis, nightly from Wednesday, November 3 to Saturday, November 6 at 7.30pm. Seating will be in accordance with any applicable COVID restrictions.
