‘Dirty Dancing’ to be screened in gardens

The classic 1980s coming-of-age romance 'Dirty Dancing' will be screened in Lister Gardens

THE classic 1980s film ‘Dirty Dancing’ will be screened in Lister Gardens, Lyme Regis, on Saturday, April 21.

The first open-air cinema event to be held in the seafront gardens for several years is being organised by Pop-Up Events and will raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The event ill include food and refreshment stalls, which will open at 7pm, followed by a filming of the 1987 coming-of-age romance, which sees Jennifer Grey play the shy and idealistic Baby, who falls for dance instructor Patrick Swayze during her summer holiday.
