Top bill for folk festival fundraiser

LYME Folk Revisited – the annual fundraiser for the town’s popular folk festival – is just around the corner.

This year the one-off concert will be held in the Marine Theatre in Lyme Regis on Friday, May 11 for what will be an evening of brilliant music, with all proceeds going towards staging the summer festival.

On the bill are three amazing acts, two of whom have been seen on smaller stages at previous Lyme Folk Weekends, and one complete newcomer to the town.

Regular visitors will be familiar with singer-songwriter Steve Dagleish, who captivated audiences on a moonlit seafront stage last summer.

Also on the bill is virtuoso guitarist Toby Noble, who filled the Pilot Boat in 2015 and 2016, and finally, four-piece band Ranagri (pictured above), a wonderful live act really making a name for themselves on the folk scene, will be bringing a little Celtic touch to this part of the world.

Tickets are £10, on sale now on the website or by calling Lyme Regis Tourist Information Centre on 01297 442138.
