Marine reopens for socially-distanced screenings

'War Horse' will be screened this weekend at the Marine Theatre

THE Marine Theatre in Lyme Regis is able to reopen doors this month for a number of socially-distanced screenings.

A National Theatre Live screening of the critically-acclaimed and smash-hit play ‘War Horse’ will be held this Saturday (December 5). This is an encore screening that was originally set to be shown on Remembrance Day.

A pre-recording of the National Theatre Live’s ‘All My Sons’ will be held on Thursday December 10, starring Academy Award winner Sally Field and Bill Pullman, and you can enjoy writer and actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s hilarious one-woman show ‘Fleabag’ – which inspired the hit BBC series – on New Year’s Eve.

Tickets for all the above cost £12 in advance, £14.50 on the door or are £6 for under 18s, with doors opening at 6pm and the screening at 7pm.

The Marine will also be holding two free community screenings of Christmas classic ‘It’s a Wonderful Life!’ on Friday, December 18 and Saturday, December 19, with doors opening at 6pm for a 7pm start. Tickets are free but must be booked.

For more information or to book tickets for any of the above, visit www.marinetheatre.com or call 0333 666 3366.
