Internationally acclaimed guitarist playing in Lyme Regis

FROM the deep south of Australia, Geoff Achison’s blend of raw blues and funky grooves has created scores of devoted fans around the world, and the acclaimed guitarist has just announced a special concert in Lyme Regis.

Achison was chosen as one of the Top Ten Hottest New Guitarists by Guitar Player Magazine and included in the Top 100+ Guitarists You Should Know.

He is now celebrating a brand new album recorded with his UK Souldiggers, a band that includes internationally acclaimed drummer Sam Kelly, keys man Paul Jobson, and Andy Hodge on bass.

Compared favourably to Jeff Beck and Warren Haynes, Achison delivers a full blues-rock experience with his outstanding band.

As a keen and expert improviser, Geoff has appeared on stage to jam with big names such as the legendary Allman Brothers Band, Hot Tuna, and many others.

This special concert at the Marine Theatre in Lyme Regis will be held on Friday, September 13, with the bar opening at 7pm for an 8pm start.
