Free spoken word event on community and climate change

AN online spoken word workshops discussing the Lyme Regis community and climate change will be held on Wednesday, November 25. 

Landance and project partners Dorset Library Service are organising this free online event with poet Vanessa Kissule, which they hope will provide something “interesting and engaging” for the community to get involved in during the lockdown period. 

If you would like your voice to be heard, and you live in Lyme Regis or the surrounding area, you can join thee free event on Wednesday, November 25 from 7pm to 8.30pm.

You will be invited to contribute ideas, words, sentences or a short poem around the themes of climate and community, or email input afterwards. These will inspire a group piece which Vanessa will perform and share online.

This is part of Landance in Lyme Regis, a project being planned for next year, involving further workshops followed by a late summer finale of free live evening performances on the seafront.
