Lyme Bay Arts reschedule exhibition programme

WITH the latest lockdown rules resulting in the temporary closure of its two exhibition spaces, Lyme Bay Arts is having to re-schedule its programme of events.

Lyme Bay Arts had planned exhibitions at both Lyme Regis Museum and The Gallery at the Symondsbury Estate, near Bridport, during November and December, but these have had to be rescheduled as both venues are currently closed.

It is hoped both will reopen in early December, with ‘Bringing Art to Life’, an open 2D and 3D exhibition focussing on colour and form, to be held in The Gallery and ‘Unwrapped’ in The Space next door, providing an arts and crafts showcase of work ideal as gifts for the holiday season.

These two exhibitions are likely to run until mid-January, open seven days a week from 10.30am to 4.30pm. To confirm opening times, call 01308 301326 or visit

Children’s author and illustrator Carolyn King opened her exhibition ‘Telling Tales!’ at the museum’s Rotunda Gallery just before lockdown. On reopening, the exhibition is expected to run until the end of December.
