Healthy start to the year for Lym Valley Beavers

THE 1st Lym Valley Beavers are learning how to keep healthy in an action packed programme for the start of 2018.

The Uplyme-based troop kicked off with circuit activities, learning how to keep fit and active, and in their most recent session the youngsters learned about different fruits and created fruit skewers – with many trying pomegranate for the first time.

The programme this term is a varied one, with subjects varying from Global Issues to the Communicators Badge, and even a Onesie Movie Night!

“A new year and a new start at Lym Valley means we are ready to hit the ground running,” said Beaver leader Karen Yelland.

“With 22 Beavers on the books we are bursting at the seams, but it means we can give so many more opportunities to the young people of Lyme Regis and Uplyme.”
