Community orchestra welcoming new members

WEST Dorset Community Orchestra is welcoming new musicians to its ranks.

Those who play an instrument are invited to come along, be inspired and have some fun with the community orchestra, which meets every Wednesday during school term time.

The new term starts on Wednesday, September 18 and new members of all ages are always very welcome. The rehearsals take place in the Christian Fellowship Hall, East Street car park (at rear of car park), Bridport, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.

The orchestra performs two concerts a year, one at Christmas and another in the summer. Conductor Walter Brewster prepares a programme of varied music for each concert, which are held at St John’s Church West Bay.

For more details visit the website or contact Walter Brewster on or call 07967 117 012.
