Beavers visit Pets at Home

THE 1st Lym Valley Beavers visited Pet at Home in Axminster as part of a busy winter programme.

The Beavers learned how to look after pets and other animals and they also got the chance to handle a number of the animals at the branch.

The Beavers are currently working towards their Animal Friends badge. 

Beaver leader Karen Yelland commented: “It was really good fun to visit Pets and Home, and I’m happy to see the Beavers had so much fun.

“With spaces coming up at Easter, there has never been a better time join the adventure.” 

The 1st Lym Valley Scout Group, based in Uplyme, has recently recorded record numbers in Beavers, Cubs and Scouts as the group has grown continuously for over a decade.
