Art society launches new autumn term

LYME Regis Art Society started its new autumn term with a demonstration by well-known local artist Lynda White.

Calling her demonstration ‘Versatile Acrylics’, Lynda showed members two very different techniques, completing two pieces of work before the end of the session and leaving the group with no excuse for not diving in to this very user-friendly medium.

Lyme Regis Art Society meets on alternate Tuesdays at the Woodmead Halls from 2pm to 4pm until the end of March.

The next meeting will be a demonstration on October 1 by Susan Hughes called ‘Improve Your Drawing’ and visitors and new members are always welcome.
