A trio of duchesses pay their respects

I TOOK this shot in 2016; it was as always the second Sunday of November in Whitehall at the annual laying of wreaths at the Cenotaph for Remembrance.

A trio of duchesses all in a row, the Duchess of Cambridge, Duchess of Cornwall and Duchess of Wessex, well disciplined, no talking to one another from the corner of their mouths and all focused on the ceremony unfolding in front of the whole world and the balconies surrounding.

The duchesses were fully aware of not only a gallery of press photographers with long lenses but also the thousands of spectators with phone cameras, not to mention TV cameras from all over the world, so it would not be a good time to scratch ones nose.

Is there a name for a gathering of Duchesses?
