A symbol of remembrance and hope for a peaceful future

ON a deserted beach or in the country’s capital city, poppies will forever be the symbol of remembrance.

In years gone by and to the present day, people of all denomination everywhere will spare a thought for all those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

In Lyme Regis, poppies that adorn Langmoor Gardens remind us all of the names of Lyme’s very own who died in combat, the fallen all named on the anchor at the Monmouth Street memorial.
